Pyxis LT-737B Ultralow Turbidity Sensor (Infrared Light, Low Range)

Model:
LT-737B
Brand:
Pyxis Lab

The Pyxis LT-737B is a low-range ultralow turbidity sensor using infrared light (860nm) illumination, built for resolution and accuracy beyond a standard process turbidimeter. It measures 0.000-5.000NTU with 0.001NTU resolution and 1% accuracy to ISO 7027, with dual 4-20mA analog outputs plus RS-485 through an 8-pin connector.

Ultra-fine resolution — 0.001NTU resolution and 1% accuracy to ISO 7027
Infrared illumination — 860nm light source for consistent low-turbidity readings
Ultra-fine resolution — 0.001NTU resolution and 1% accuracy to ISO 7027

Description

The Pyxis LT-737B is the low-range, infrared-light (860nm) variant of the ultralow turbidity sensor family, built for resolution and accuracy beyond a standard process turbidimeter. It covers a narrow 0.000-5.000NTU range with 0.001NTU resolution and 1% accuracy, measured to the ISO 7027 method.

Output is delivered through dual 4-20mA analog channels plus RS-485 via an 8-pin connector, integrating with existing control and monitoring infrastructure.

Its fine resolution at low turbidity levels, combined with ISO 7027 referencing, suits applications and regions where that standard — rather than EPA 180.1 — is the required measurement basis.

Why Use This

Precision at Very Low Turbidity

0.001NTU resolution and 1% accuracy to ISO 7027 suit applications tracking near-zero turbidity changes.

Flexible Signal Output

Dual 4-20mA analog outputs plus RS-485 via an 8-pin connector support integration into existing systems.

Applications

  • ISO 7027-referenced low-turbidity monitoring — fine resolution for detecting small clarity changes
  • Finished water quality verification — precision beyond standard process turbidimeters
  • Regional compliance monitoring — where ISO 7027 is the applicable standard

FAQ

What range and precision does the LT-737B offer?

0.000-5.000NTU with 0.001NTU resolution and 1% accuracy.

What standard is this sensor measured to?

ISO 7027, using infrared (860nm) light illumination.

How does it differ from the LT-737?

Same range, resolution, and accuracy, but the LT-737B uses infrared (860nm) light and is measured to ISO 7027, while the LT-737 uses warm white light (3200K) and is measured to EPA 180.1.

What outputs does it provide?

Dual 4-20mA analog outputs plus RS-485, via an 8-pin connector.
