The backbone of the range, built on two core detection technologies. Its LED UV fluorescence platform underlies most of the specialty cooling-water sensors — PTSA, azole, tagged polymer, fluorescein, algae and oil-in-water all work by exciting a fluorescent signature and reading its response. For chlorine and other oxidizers, Pyxis instead uses a bare-gold electrochemical detection platform — a membrane-less, reagent-free design built to avoid the drift and upkeep of traditional amperometric or DPD methods.
