It uses LED UV light sources for direct PTSA measurement and applies Pyxis's proprietary compensation algorithms to hold accuracy even where sample turbidity or colour would otherwise distort the reading. Output is via 4-20mA analog and RS-485 Modbus, with Bluetooth-enabled calibration and diagnostics through the uPyxis app.
