The Pyxis SP-710B is a handheld multimeter that simultaneously measures up to six key water treatment parameters — pH, conductivity, PTSA, temperature, ORP, and fluorescein — in a single rugged, one-handed device. It was designed mainly for cooling tower and boiler tank applications and is built to be heat and melt resistant accordingly.
A fully potted, battery-powered pH/ORP module is Bluetooth-enabled and communicates wirelessly with the base unit, eliminating water and KCl contamination to the meter. The cuvette-less platform combines electrochemical and optical measurement, simultaneously compensating for colour and turbidity contamination during fluorescence testing for ±1ppb resolution.
Additional features include a fully moulded, waterproof screen, an integrated humidity sensor, intelligent sensor ageing detection, and storage for up to 8G of historical measurement data with time and location stamps, transferable via Bluetooth. It is rated IP67 and supports 10,000+ readings on a single charge.
