The RT-100 PRISM is an inline digital refractometer that converts the refractive index of a liquid sample directly into accurate concentration values for glycol and process fluid monitoring. Built-in temperature-compensated equations cover Mono-Ethylene Glycol, Mono-Propylene Glycol, Sugar Content (BRIX), and Advanced Low Viscosity Fluid from a single sensor body. It operates as a stand-alone unit with local display and data logging, or integrates with a PLC, DCS, or third-party controller via 4-20mA and RS-485 Modbus.

Description

The RT-100 PRISM is an inline digital refractometer that reads the refractive index of a liquid sample and converts it directly into accurate concentration values for water and process fluid applications. It can run as a stand-alone unit with a local display, push-button interface, and onboard data logging, or integrate into a PLC, DCS, or third-party controller via 4-20mA and RS-485 Modbus outputs.

Built-in temperature-compensated equations convert refractive index readings into percentage concentration for Mono-Ethylene Glycol (MEG), Mono-Propylene Glycol (MPG), Sugar Content (BRIX), and Advanced Low Viscosity Fluid (ALV), covering a wide span of glycol and process monitoring duties from a single sensor body.

Construction is 316L stainless steel with a sapphire measurement window, rated IP67, and it installs into a Tri-Clamp flow assembly with a 3/4″ NPT flange, allowing removal for cleaning without tools. For fouled or contaminated streams, Pyxis recommends routine sensor eye cleaning or fitting the ultrasonic cleaning module accessory. The optional MA-CR Bluetooth Adapter adds wireless data access via the uPyxis app, including up to 56 days of stored historical readings at 1-minute intervals.
