The Pyxis EM-500 is an inline chlorophyll-a sensor using fluorescence detection to monitor algae concentration in real time, without reagents or wet chemistry. It is suited to raw water intake monitoring, algae bloom detection in cooling water sources, and process water quality tracking where biological fouling risk needs early warning.

The sensor outputs via isolated 4-20mA analog and RS-485 Modbus for direct integration with a PLC, SCADA, or third-party controller. Diagnosis, calibration, and cleanliness checks are handled through the MA-CR Bluetooth adapter and the uPyxis mobile app.
