The SP-395T handheld fluorometer is a patented Pyxis Lab device utilising UV light absorbance to detect TolyTriazole (TTA) content in water. Testing results are instantaneous and reliable. This technology is not wet chemistry, and value variations may occur depending on sample water quality; users should identify the correlation to exact wet chemistry values and account for background interference.

Sample acidification is not required. The SP-395T will not work correctly in waters containing nitrite treatment, as nitrite absorbs UV light and causes a false high value.
