Description
The Fluimac Phoenix Food PF170 is an air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pump built in electro-polished 316 stainless steel with Tri-Clamp connections, designed for food, beverage, and hygienic process transfer applications. It is FDA-compliant and shares the seal-less, dry-run-safe, self-priming design used across the standard Phoenix range.
Fluid connections are 1-1/2″ Tri-Clamp DN 1-1/2″ BS 4825 with a 1/2″ BSP air connection, and the pump is rated for a maximum flow of 170 lt/min at up to 8 bar of air pressure. It delivers a maximum head of 80 m, self-primes to 5 m of dry suction lift, and achieves a wet suction lift of 9.8 m. Maximum solid passing is 7.5 mm, noise level is 75 dB, and viscosity handling extends to 35,000 cps; displacement per stroke is approximately 700 cc.
The PF170 carries an ATEX rating of II 3/3 G Ex h IIB T4 Gc / II 3 D Ex h IIIB T135°C Dc X, suiting larger-volume hygienic transfer duties within the Phoenix Food range.
