Pyxis ST-587-NT Inline PTSA + Turbidity Sensor (No Tee Assembly)

Model:
ST-587-NT
Brand:
Pyxis

The Pyxis ST-587-NT is an inline dual-parameter sensor that measures PTSA and turbidity together, with automatic colour/turbidity compensation, across a 0-200ppb / 0-200NTU range. It ships as a sensor only, without the tee assembly kit, and outputs dual 4-20mA analog and RS-485 Modbus signals through an 8-pin connector.

Description

The Pyxis ST-587-NT is an inline dual-parameter sensor that measures PTSA and turbidity together from a single probe, with automatic colour/turbidity compensation, across a 0-200ppb / 0-200NTU range.

Combining both measurements in one sensor lets operators confirm inhibitor dose while simultaneously tracking turbidity, and the automatic compensation helps keep the PTSA reading accurate even as turbidity in the water changes.

It ships as a sensor only, without the tee assembly kit, and outputs dual 4-20mA analog and RS-485 Modbus signals through an 8-pin connector for integration with plant control systems.

Why Use This

Two Parameters, One Probe

Measuring PTSA and turbidity together reduces the number of insertion points needed on the process line.

Compensated Accuracy

Automatic colour/turbidity compensation helps keep PTSA readings accurate even as turbidity varies.

Flexible Installation

Supplied as a sensor only, it lets sites with an existing tee assembly add or replace a sensor without a full mounting kit.

Applications

  • Combined inhibitor dose and turbidity monitoring from a single probe
  • Water treatment programmes where turbidity variation could otherwise affect PTSA readings
  • Sites with existing tee hardware needing a sensor-only replacement

FAQ

What does this sensor measure?

It measures PTSA and turbidity together from a single probe, across a 0-200ppb / 0-200NTU range.

Why does it need turbidity compensation?

The sensor includes automatic colour/turbidity compensation so that changes in water turbidity do not distort the PTSA inhibitor dose reading.

Does this version include the tee assembly?

No, the ST-587-NT ships as a sensor only, without the tee assembly kit.

How does it connect to a control system?

Output is dual 4-20mA analog and RS-485 Modbus through an 8-pin connector.
