The Pyxis RT-200 PRISM is an inline digital refractometer built for high-temperature process applications, measuring the refractive index of a liquid sample and converting it directly into accurate concentration values. It is a stand-alone device with local display, push-button interface, and onboard data logging, and also outputs via 4-20mA and RS-485 Modbus for integration with a PLC, DCS, or third-party controller.
Built-in temperature-compensated equations convert the measured refractive index into percentage concentration for Mono-Ethylene Glycol (MEG), Mono-Propylene Glycol (MPG), Sugar Content (BRIX), and Advanced Low Viscosity Fluid (ALV), with operation up to 120°C, making it suited to sugar production and other high-temperature process monitoring where the standard RT-100 range would not be rated.
Construction is 316L stainless steel with a sapphire measurement window, rated IP67, and installs into a Tri-Clamp flow assembly with 3/4″ NPT flange. Built-in Bluetooth 5.0 connects to the uPyxis mobile app for setup, diagnosis, and up to 56 days of stored historical readings at 1-minute intervals. An optional Ultra-Sonic RT-Series Cleaning Module (P/N 56208) is available for automated online cleaning in fouled or contaminated fluid streams.
