Water treatment is necessary in swimming pools to prevent build-up of contaminants and the growth of algae or other harmful microorganisms. For the contaminants, dosing alum causes particles to clump together, making it easier to filter out. For disinfection purposes, chlorine is commonly used. However, chlorine as a disinfectant is only effective within a specific range of pH, which is a problem when the pH fluctuates due to rain, sweat or other contaminants in the pool. Chlorine also breaks down as it disinfects. As such, pH and chlorine levels have to be maintained within set parameters.

For this purpose, we provide an integrated water treatment system that has real-time monitoring and automated controls. The main part of the system consists of a water treatment controller and metering pumps. The controller has sensors which provide real-time monitoring of pH and chlorine levels while the metering pumps inject precise doses of chlorine, acids, alkaline or alum as needed. Used in tandem, our integrated water treatment system can maintain chlorine levels, pH levels and other parameters automatically and reliably.
