BOILER WATER TREATMENT

Boilers are crucial in many industries for a cost-effective way of powering production using steam energy, as well as providing heat or hot water needed in many industrial processes.

The water used in these industrial boilers has to be treated to prevent two major problems, scaling and corrosion.

Boiler scaling is caused by the concentration of impurities in the water being deposited directly on heat transfer surfaces after a few cycles. This interferes with heat transfers and may cause uneven hot spots, which can negatively affect energy efficiency of the boiler system. Scaling is prevented by removal of water once conductivity (a measure of mineral content) is too high.

Boiler corrosion is caused when iron that is present in the boiler water is exposed to oxygen and water, resulting in a chemical reaction that forms rusts and disintegration of the metal boiler tubes and other related parts. Corrosion is prevented with the injection of corrosion inhibitors and oxygen scavengers, as well as active adjustment of pH.

For your industrial boiler water treatment needs, we provide water treatment controllers, metering pumps, and water hardness analyzers which can all be integrated into a boiler water treatment system.

The water treatment controller allows for real-time monitoring of key parameters like conductivity, pH, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) and chlorine levels while the metering pumps provide precise dosing of corrosion inhibitors, acid, alkaline and oxygen scavengers. The water hardness analyzer provides real-time data and alerts of calcium carbonate concentrations in boiler feed water, where high water hardness levels can cause scaling.

Used in conjunction with our boiler water treatment system, all key parameters can be controlled with automatic dosing from the metering pumps, with an added layer of safety with an automatic blowdown of cooling water when conductivity goes above set parameters.

Our automated fertigation system are designed according to high engineering standards to ensure:

Automated Fertigation System 2

Dosatron Fertiliser Injector

The Dosatron is a water-powered fertiliser injector that automatises the fertiliser mixing process. It offers many advantages over the manual method as well as other automated alternatives

Precision Drippers

Irrigation Accessories

Other Irrigation Accessories

A high-performing irrigation system requires the right accessories in the right place to prevent leakages, water hammer, clogging, pipe burst, etc. Without these, the farmer will waste time and money to fix these problems during critical period of the operation.
