The Dosatron works using the pressure of the water flowing through it, which powers the pump, creating a vacuum that draws the concentrate into the water stream, mixing it on the way to the point of application.
The motor piston moves under the pressure of water. A system of valves allows the movement to be reversed. This water powered piston creates a reciprocating motion along the axis of the pump body.
Each piston cycle corresponds to a predetermined volume of water, which passes through the pump. The speed of the motor varies proportionally to the water flow.
More than just dosing chemical like a typical dosing pump, the Dosatron goes a step further: It reduces the concentration of the chemical by mixing it with water.
The very water that powers the Dosatron also dilutes the chemical that is dosed. This simple automation is an excellent alternative to other chemical dilution systems that require multiple equipment like dosing pump, flow meter and controller.
Operating on a volumetric proportional principle, the dosing accuracy is not affected by any change in flow or pressure of the water.
You can be assured that the desired final concentration will be consistently accurate no matter the change in water demand in other parts of the factory.
The Dosatron comes with threaded inlet and outlet, making for very easy setup and installation. To get it up and running, all you need to do is to select the desired dilution ratio on the Dosatron.
Being fully mechanical with no electrical or electronic component, it requires very no regular calibration and minimal maintenance. The servicing is also very easy, with minimal tools involved in the servicing process.
Dosatron is the original inventor of the non-electric proportional dosing pump. It was invented by two French brothers, French brothers, Jean and Philippe Cloup, in 1974.
Keeping faithful to its roots, every unit of Dosatron is manufactured, assembled and tested in its birthplace of Bordeaux, France.
Dosatron comes in a different ranges that is catered to your needs and requirements. They have the Animal Line for the livestock sector, Green Line for the horticulture sector, the Water Line for the water treatment sector, Food & Hygiene Line for the F&B sector, and the Industrial Line for the manufacturing sector.
The Dosatron comes standard in Polypropylene bodies. However, for use with highly corrosive chemical, the PVDF option is available.
For application above 70°C, there is the all-new High-Temp Dosatron, while for operation in sensitive environment, the Dosatron is also available in ATEX version for Zone 1 and Zone 2.
Every Dosatron is fully tested at high flow and high pressure upon final assembly. No unit is allowed to leave the factory until it satisfy the high standard it is manufactured to achieve.
The Dosatron is used in a wide ranging of sectors and applications in Malaysia like livestock medication, biosecurity, fertigation, water chlorination, food disinfection, surface cleaning, conveyor lubrication, pH adjustment, coolant dilution, precision cleaning, polymer dosing, mould release agent dilution, etc.

In 1974, two French brothers, Jean and Philippe Cloup, invented the world’s first non-electric proportional dosing pump in Bordeaux, France.
